The method (22) involves forming (S1) the bladder by welding a film, particularly a plastic film to an internal space defining the shell of the bladder such that the shell has a welded seam. The ladder is treated (S2) with heat in a temperature cabinet filled with air after welding. The bladder is filled with a fluid before or during treatment of the bladder with heat, where the fluid is air or water. The fluid tightness of the bladder is checked during treatment of the bladder with heat.
