The device (13) has two profiles (15, 16) at which a hanging part (14) i.e. pleating, of a sun protection device and tensioning arrangements e.g. cords and cables, for the hanging part are fastenable. The profiles are vertically fastenable at a window pane (11) or a door leaf by using an adhesive tape. Support angles (17-20) are arranged above and/or below the profiles for fastening the tensioning arrangements of the hanging part. The support angles are insertable into the profiles, where the profiles are made of aluminum or plastic and comprise a square cross-section.
