Manufacture of thin film solar cell involves carrying out electrochemical deposition of copper, indium and selenium-containing layer, performing heat treatment, and forming homogeneous copper-indium-selenium absorber layer. The copper, indium and selenium-containing layer is in form of nano multilayer structure, in which primary sublayers containing high content of copper and selenium, and secondary sublayers containing high content of indium, are alternatively deposited. The heat treatment is performed at low temperature under mild conditions.
