The sensor has a defined emission spectrum radiating light source (1) arranged in a sensor head (2). A detector detects light emitted from a biofilm (3). A set of photoconductive glass fibers (5) is arranged under a settlement substrate (4) and around the central light source, where the light source is arranged in the sensor head. The glass fibers are arranged in a set of concentric circles, and are pivotable around a spatial axis in an angle of incidence (6). The biofilm is rearwardly irradiated by the light source. The light source is selected from an LED, a laser diode or a UV lamp.
