The device (2) has a real-time processing unit (4) i.e. digital processing unit, which is in signal communication with a detecting unit that detects operational parameters of a vehicle i.e. motor car. A multi-channel sample player (12) comprises channels controllable or actuated depending on the detected operational parameters for production of operation noise by the processing unit, where the channels are assigned to the respective operational parameters. The processing unit comprises an interface (6) connected with a vehicle bus i.e. Controller area network (CAN) bus. The operational parameters are selected from engine speed, engine power and velocity of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for simulating production of operation noise of a vehicle i.e. motor car.
