The medical device has a lattice braided fabric portion (10) that is provided with a large stitch portion (13a) with an edge region (14a) and several small stitch portions (13b). A wire (11) is extended along a spiral direction of the edge region. A lattice-formed detour region is spaced from a stitch-increasing detour region (15a) in longitudinal direction of the lattice braided fabric portion such that the wire is extended parallel to the stitch-increasing detour region. An edge surface of the small stitch portion is bordered on the large stitch portion.
