The couch (1) has a support surface (2) and a height-adjustable undercarriage (3) with an upper frame portion (4) and a lower frame portion (5). The upper frame portion and lower frame portion are positioned along vertical direction relative to each other. A roller holder (8) of a transport roller (7) is mounted relative to lower frame portion for vertical displacement. An urging element (9) is provided on the upper frame portion for pressurizing the support surface such that an upper loading end (15) of the roller holder is partially lowered with the support surface.
