The subwoofer has a bass (8) arranged on a side of a housing, and a passive vibrator (7) arranged on another side of the housing, where the subwoofer is mounted below a seat surface with a seat frame of a seat of a vehicle. The bass, the vibrator and an impact and/or absorption plate are mounted in the direction of a floor of the vehicle. The plate is mounted below the seat surface over resonance and oscillation-decoupling materials, where the subwoofer works according to passive vibrator and/or passive radiator principle.
