The method involves determining eddy flow induced flow measurement data of flow measurement data profiles detected from discrete measuring positions. A spatial course of swirl axis of vortex flow is calculated in dependence on vortex flow induced flow measurement data and measuring position of vortex-flow-induced flow measurement data. The vortex flow is determined as a function of spatial pattern of vortex axis. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) program for determining fluid flow of data; and (2) device for determining fluid flow of data.
