The method involves feeding fraction of energy of an accumulator (4) of a decentralized storage device in a power network (1) during the short-term peak demand. A Leonard converter or rotary converter is used bi-directionally when there is a power demand and the sufficient energy is available in the accumulator. The troubles in the power network are monitored by an integrated control device. An apparatus for connecting the accumulator and current generator is installed in a box of electrical installation. An independent claim is included for a device for connecting the accumulator and the current generator to the electric power supply.
