The car jack (10) has a foot (12) arrangeable on a base and a support part brought to attachment to a floor structure of the motor vehicle and is movable relative to the foot. The support part has two fixing portions (34) on a support surface facing away from the foot. The fixing portions are spaced from each other. The fixing portions extend transversely or perpendicularly from the support surface. The fixing portions are integrally formed with the support part.
