The connecting device (1) comprises a channel (6) that is provided with a primary output (4) for connecting with through hole of a prosthesis socket, and secondary output (14) for connecting with a pump housing (18) of pump. A valve (24) is arranged in the channel and is operable between two modes. The valve is operated as one way valve when valve is in one mode, and valve is operated as two way valve when valve is in another mode. An independent claim is included for prosthetic system.
