The device has a sensor (114) and a transmitting unit i.e. wireless optical carrier, where the sensor is arranged in a rotor blade (108). The sensor obtains rotational speed about a longitudinal axis (112) of the rotor blade to obtain a measurement signal. The transmitting unit transmits the measurement signal to a control unit (116). A recognizing device recognizes transit of the rotor blade before a tower (102) of a wind-power plant (100). The sensor is designed to obtain rotational speed and/or bending in an impact direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a control system (2) a method for detecting a load of a rotor blade of a rotor of a wind turbine.
