The plant has two wind generators (2) arranged on a buoyant body (4) i.e. floating platform, for producing electric current from wind energy. A retaining device (5) i.e. anchor system, is attached at the buoyant body for optionally fixing or releasing a position and/or an alignment of the system, so that the retaining device defines a predetermined adjustable range on a water surface (6) e.g. sea, lake and river, in which the system is operated and/or secured. The wind generators comprise wind turbines (3) whose rotational directions (A, B) lie opposite to each other. The wind turbines are designed as vertical axis wind turbines or horizontal axis wind turbines.
