Solid instant composition comprises a carrier, at least one active substance or active component comprising plant extracts, plant powder, fruit concentrates, fruit extracts, vitamins, minerals and/or amino acids, or further additives comprising flavors or flavoring substances, acidity regulators, fillers, dyes, release agents and/or sweetening agents, where the carrier is polydextrose. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a portion pack comprising a bag or sachet made of paper or aluminum foil and/or a composite film, and 3-20 g composition; and (2) use of polydextrose as a carrier for producing solid instant composition for producing liquid beverages.
