Transmission for motor vehicle, has synchronizing units assigned to gear wheel pairs that are arranged coaxially in interior of hollow shaft, where controllable connecting elements are penetrating in radial direction of wall of hollow shaft
The transmission (1) has an input shaft (6) and an output shaft (10) arranged axially to each other and a counter shaft (14) arranged parallel to both shafts. The shafts provided in the gear wheels (7 to 9,11 to 13,15 to 20) are formed as a hollow shaft. The synchronizing units assigned to the different gear wheel pairs are arranged coaxially in the interior of the hollow shaft. The controllable connecting elements are penetrating in the radial direction of the wall of the corresponding hollow shaft for locking of the assigned gear wheel in a switching operation.
