The vessel (10) i.e. multi-corrugated board, has a chamber (11) comprising an opening portion (12) over which the chamber is supplied with a liquid medium. A closure unit (15) is assigned to the opening portion. The closure unit is shifted from a closed position in which flow of the medium through the opening portion is blocked to the open position in which the flow of the medium is allowed, by application of a force by an opening unit i.e. pipette. The closure unit is returned back into the closed position by forces independent of the open position after termination of the force. An independent claim is also included for a cover part for a sample vessel.
