The assembly (1) has a metallic connecting element (4) i.e. perspiration bolt, that comprises a head portion (4') and a pin portion (4''). The pin portion penetrates into a through hole (2') of the carbon fiber composite component and the head portion abuts to an outer-side around the through hole. The carbon fiber composite component is coated at its side facing the head portion with a hydrophobic, water-repelling or water-impermeable barrier layer (5). A sealing mass (6) sealingly encloses the head portion. The barrier layer is extended into the through hole.
