The inverter has a direct current-direct current-converter circuit part (4) connected to a battery over (3) a first direct current-terminal (25) for discharging the battery in discharging operation and for charging the battery in charging operation. The part is connected with a network-coupled inverter (2) of a photovoltaic system (1) for generating energy from a regenerative energy source over a second direct current-terminal (26). A third direct current-terminal (27) directly connects the inverter with the system. A switch (33) is arranged between the second and third terminals. An independent claim is also included for a device for supplying electric energy for house.
