The method involves providing potential high centrifugal forces in central periphery regions of disks (3, 4) than in liquid disks (1, 2). The disks are segmented into outer disks (3.1, 4.1) and inner disks (3.2, 4.2). The outer and inner disks are connected by a region with a high flow resistance. A squeezed liquid is trapped in storage spaces (7, 8) during breakdown of a one-sided built pressure of a gas on one of sides of the liquid disks. The liquid is stored in the disks such that the disks are not intensely hit by gas breakdown as the liquid disks. An independent claim is also included for a device for performing a method for gas-tight sealing integrated in a ball bearing.
