The invention describes a process for the preparation of gel systems for oil - and field applications, such as frac king and borehole cleaning, consisting of a hydrogel and an antidote, wherein the viscosity and the hydrophilicity of the gels or the residual gel was due to the reaction with the antidote be reduced, and therefore the return of the gels can be conveyed is improved.
