The system (2) has a by-pass channel (22) through which cooling water flowing through cooling water supply channel (13-15) is returned to water pump. A water temperature sensor (23) is set within engine for detecting temperature of cooling water. A control device (24) is provided for controlling separation valve (19) to prevent flowing of cooling water into cooling water supply channel. The by-pass channel is set to flow cooling water, when temperature of cooling water detected by water temperature sensor is set lower than predetermined temperature.
