The aircraft (100) has multiple electromotors (3) and freewheeling propellers (2) arranged in a surface, where each propeller is assigned with the respective electromotor for driving the propeller. A signal processing unit automatically performs a position control under consideration of measurement data of a position sensor by signal technical intervention on speed controllers assigned to the electromotors such that the aircraft is horizontally located in a space at any time with the surface that is defined by the propellers without pilot's control inputs or a remote control. The signal processing unit is selected from a group consisting of a microprocessor, a digital signal processor, a microcontroller, a field programmable gate array (FPGA), a digital controller, an analog processor, an analog computer and an analog controller such as proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller or as hybrid processing unit.
