The piston-cylinder assembly has a piston (3) which is axially moved inside a cylinder (2). An inductive sensor system is provided with conductive target (12) fixed with piston, and coil arrangements attached to the cylinder such that the circular spatial expansion of coil arrangements with respect to outer radius of the cylinder is enabled. Sensor housing is enclosed with outer radius of the cylinder. The coil arrangements are secured on the carrier element (11) formed of flexible film.
