The method involves casing a concrete slab (1) on a set of sandwich panels (2, 7) located above a crawl space or a basement. The set of panels is attached to a metal frame including posts that are tapped in wall thickness. The panels are allowed to rest on a peripheral wall. The panels are provided vertically and fixed by utilizing a special bracket (6) to support a lower edge of the panels and bear the panels on the concrete slab.
