The plate has a mixing unit i.e. buffer tank (40), arranged along an exchange grid for mixing a surface layer of an absorbing fluid (10) i.e. lithium bromide, with rest of the absorbing fluid flow, where the plate is traversed by the absorbing fluid flowing along the grid. The grid enables exothermic absorption of refrigerant i.e. water vapor, due to increase in concentration of the refrigerant in the surface layer of the absorbing fluid. The buffer tank is fixed at a frame and used as reinforcement for the grid.
