The device has a spacer rigidly fixed in a front cradle, and a nut (10) fixed in a front shaft. The nut has a cylindrical centering part (13) inserted into a centering hole of the spacer for centering the cradle and the shaft during assembling operation of a vehicle body. A fastening screw passes through an axial opening of the spacer, and is screwed on the nut. The centering part has diameter (d) approximately equal to a diameter of the hole to remove a clearance between the nut and the spacer. The centering part includes a radial slot (14) for absorbing a residual torque of the device.
