The cap has a main ring (10) with two strips extending from a front side. Two covers (30, 31) are pivotably mounted for selectively closing the main ring used as a lens cover when the covers close the main ring and as a lens hood when the main ring is open. Two levers (20) are mounted on a rear side of the main ring for selectively positioning the covers upon closure of the main ring. A connecting ring (60) is mounted on the rear side of the main ring to prevent the levers from detaching from the main ring, where the connecting ring is mounted on a lens (A) of a film camera.
