PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate an α nuclide by performing solid-liquid separation and ion removal of a sodium chloride-containing waste liquid including the α nuclide to reduce an α nuclide concentration while surely avoiding a criticality accident.;SOLUTION: An α nuclide separation system from a sodium chloride-containing waste liquid comprises: a waste liquid tank 11 for storing the sodium chloride-containing waste liquid 12 including an α nuclide; a solid-liquid separator 13 for separating the sodium chloride-containing waste liquid 12 into a solid component 14 and a liquid component 15; a solid collection tank 16 for collecting the solid component 14 while preventing a criticality accident due to the separated solid component; an α nuclide monitor 20 for measuring an α nuclide concentration from the waste liquid 15 of the separated liquid component; an ion part removal device 24 for introducing the waste liquid 15 of the liquid component having the measured α nuclide concentration equal to or more than a target concentration to separate and remove the α nuclide; and a second α nuclide monitor 28 for measuring the α nuclide concentration of a treated waste liquid 27 having the α nuclides reduced by the ion part removal device 24.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
