PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactive base material constituted by an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer porous particle and manufacturing method therefor.;SOLUTION: A reactive base material can be obtained by a method including a process I of melting and mixing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and water-soluble polymer and cooling and solidifying a molten material to obtain a composite, and a process II of extracting the water-soluble polymer from the composite to obtain a porous ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a pulverizing treatment after the process I or II. The resulting reactive base material is constituted by an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer porous particle having an average value of a major axis of pore formed on a surface of the particles of 0.01 μm to 20 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
