PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operator to monitor a well-balanced favorable image at a plurality of resolutions.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus according to the present embodiment comprises: an X-ray generation unit for emitting X-rays onto a subject; an X-ray detection unit for detecting X-rays; an image data generation/processing unit for generating original image data on the basis of the output from the X-ray detection unit and then generating first image data and second image data on the basis of the original image data; and a display unit for displaying the first image and the second image, with one of the images as an image for the right eye and the other image as an image for the left eye. The X-ray diagnostic apparatus presents a higher resolution for one of the first image and the second image than for the other image with respect to at least one resolution among a plurality of different types of resolutions.
