PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition for a writing instrument endowed with unprecedentedly diverse practicalities and capable of realizing, by using a specified compound for chemically removing gases within an ink, a favorable writing performance without being accompanied by inconveniences associated with light-colored or white inks or a thermally decolorable ink and a writing instrument internalizing the same.;SOLUTION: The provided aqueous ink composition for a writing instrument includes a coloring agent, water, and limonoid.
