PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lactobacillus having decreasing action of hepatic neutral fat that is a cause of fatty liver, in particular, a lactobacillus having a -aminobutyric acid producing action and a hypocholesterolemic activity in addition to the hepatic neutral fat decreasing action as well as an oral composition, for example, a drinking and eating composition and a pharmaceutical composition containing the lactobacillus or fermentation products thereof.SOLUTION: Provided is a lactobacillus (Lactobacillus brevis) having a hepatic neutral fat decreasing action, preferably, having a -aminobutyric acid producing action and a hypocholesterolemic activity in addition to the hepatic neutral fat decreasing action derived from brassica rapa (turnip) cv. tsuda.
