PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the urge for an accelerated switch from patented drugs to generic-named drugs as the Japanese medical care insurance system is faced with a major financial difficulty on the eve of a real low birth rate and high average age society and for a saving in drug price payments, which now run up to 7 trillion yen.SOLUTION: Under a loyalty program system, each insured person or his or her dependent having switched from patented drugs to generic-named drugs is given a point or points according to the resultant difference in drug price, and can use the points so earned to pay for a desired service out of a plurality of services offered on a specific website accessible on the Internet.
