PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber treatment agent for paper making capable of providing excellent settleability, low shear dispersibility, antifoaming properties, defoaming properties to a synthetic fiber for paper making used in paper making nonwoven fabric.;SOLUTION: The synthetic fiber treatment agent contains an A component of a polyester compound obtained by polycondensating at least one dicarboxylic acid (derivative) selected from aromatic dicarboxylic acid, aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 4 to 22 carbon atoms and ester formative derivative thereof, and at least one kind selected from alkylene glycol, polyalkylene glycol and polyalkylene glycol, a B component of at least one kind selected from a B1 component represented by the formula (1) and a B2 component represented by the formula (2), and a C component of fatty acid soap having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, and the percentage of the A component is 20 to 85 wt.%, the percentage of the B component is 10 to 60 wt.% and the percentage of the C component is 5 to 40 wt.% in a nonvolatile content of the treatment agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
