PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete modifier which can suppress deterioration factors for concrete when being added to the surfaces of neutralized concrete and internal surfaces of cracks of the concrete and a concrete modification method using the modifier.;SOLUTION: A concrete modifier suppresses deterioration factors for concrete when being added to the surfaces of neutralized concrete and/or internal surfaces of cracks of the concrete. The concrete modifier is a two-liquid type concrete modifier consisting of a liquid containing a light metal compound and a liquid containing a reaction- or solidification-type alkali metal silicate or a one-liquid type concrete modifier consisting of a mixture liquid containing a light metal compound and a reaction- or solidification-type alkali metal silicate.
