PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air quality purifier capable of performing an effective air purification while restricting or avoiding occurrence of uncomfortable feeling caused by chlorine odor and swimming pool odor.SOLUTION: A control device 11 of this invention calculates a concentration X3 of hypochlorous acid water solution by multiplying abundance ratio X2 of hypochlorous acid calculated in reference to concentration of hydrogen ion to concentration X1 of free residual chlorine, calculates vapor-liquid equilibrium concentration X4 of hypochlorous acid under application of the concentration X3 of hypochlorous acid water solution and vapor-liquid equilibrium constant, calculates discharging amount X5 of hypochlorous acid gas by multiplying humidification efficiency calculated from a flow rate of aeration air and temperature-humidity of aeration air to the vapor-liquid equilibrium concentration X4 of hypochlorous acid and performs a controlling operation in such a way that the discharging amount X5 of hypochlorous acid gas may become a prescribed desired value.
