PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor solution for LiCoOfilm formation which is superior in storage stability.SOLUTION: A precursor solution is arranged for forming a LiCoOfilm 12 which is used as a positive electrode material 11 of a thin film-type lithium secondary battery. The precursor solution for LiCoOfilm formation comprises an organic lithium compound, and an organic cobalt compound which are dissolved in an organic solvent. The organic lithium compound is a lithium salt of a carboxylic acid expressed by the general formula, CHCOOH(where 2n8).
