PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption of a resource in the case of performing image recognition.;SOLUTION: An image recognition device includes: a reference image side calculation part for analyzing the features of a reference image, and for calculating a plurality of featured values of the reference image; a featured value data group generation part for, on the basis of the plurality of featured values of the reference image calculated by the reference image side calculation part, generating a featured value data group in which the featured values of the reference image having lower level values are replaced with alternative data having data amounts smaller than the data amounts of the featured values of the reference image; an object image side calculation part for analyzing the features of an object image, and for calculating the featured values of the object image; and a matching part for comparing the featured values of the object image calculated by the object image calculation part with the featured value data group, and for associating points in the reference image with points in the object image.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
