PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing sulfide-based solid electrolyte slurry and sulfide-based solid electrolyte powder, which are applicable to functional films for all-solid type secondary batteries, according to simple and convenient ways at low cost by using low toxic red phosphorus and sulfur as starting raw materials without using a special device necessary for a mechanical milling method or the like.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing sulfide-based solid electrolyte slurry comprises the step of causing reactions of at least particles of elemental phosphorus (P), particles of elemental sulfur(S), and sulfide alkaline particles in an organic solvent in turn or concurrently while heating and applying ultrasonic waves to them.
