METHOD OF CUTTING LOCKING PIN FOR SCALLOP CULTIVATION, AND LOCKING PIN FOR SCALLOP CULTIVATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting a locking pin for scallop cultivation and the locking pin which facilitate insertion of the locking pin into a locking hole and which make attaching operation of the locking pin smooth, easy and efficient in a scallop cultivation.SOLUTION: A locking pin includes: a runner part 2; a gate part 3 diverged from the runner part 2; and a shaft part 4 provided in the tip end of the gate part 3. At least in one end of the shaft part 4, there is a tip insertion part 5 for a mantle hanging hole drilled in a mantle of a scallop shell and, in the inner part of the shaft of this tip insertion part 5, a scallop locking part 6 is provided protruding in the circumferential direction. Also, in the shaft part, there is a rope fall-off prevention part protruding in the circumferential direction. The locking pin for scallop cultivation is integrally formed with resin. In a cutting method of the locking pin for scallop cultivation, in which the locking pin is cut off from the gate part 3, a part between the gate part 3 and the tip insertion part 5 of the shaft part 4 is cut by fusion with irradiation beam 11 of a laser irradiation apparatus.
