PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine display coordinates so that a spot of interest in the destination of switching is within the range of the displayed image when the display is switched from the map picture of a floor to the map picture of a desired floor.;SOLUTION: A map display system includes a moving means selection means 28b for selecting a desired moving means for moving between floors, a floor designation means 28a for designating the floor of a desired destination, and a display control means 26. When the map picture of an arbitrary moving start floor displayed on a display means 25 is switched into the map picture of the floor of the designated destination of moving and displayed on the display means 25 on the basis of the moving means on the moving start floor selected by the moving means selection means 28b and the floor designated by the floor designation means 28a, the display control means 26 determines display coordinates of the map picture so that the endpoint position of the moving means on the floor of destination of movement is set to a prescribed position in the displayed picture on the basis of the designated floor of destination of moving and horizontal movement components from the moving start floor to the floor of moving destination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
