PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a claim structure information generating device for performing structural analysis of a patent claim having a deep hierarchy.SOLUTION: A claim structure information generating device comprises: a morphological analysis part 12 for analyzing a claim stored in a storage part 11 morphologically; a clause specification part 13 for specifying clauses of the claim; a surface layer punctuation information storage part 14 for storing surface layer punctuation information having clue information and tokens of a surface layer which is punctuation of description segments and exhibits the relation between the description segments; a token application part 15 for applying tokens to positions corresponding to the clue information of the surface layer of the claim; a clause type correspondence information storage part 16 for storing clause type correspondence information having the clue information of the parts of speech of the clauses which make punctuation of the description segments and punctuation clause types; a punctuation clause type application part 17 for applying punctuation clause types to clauses corresponding to the clue information of the parts of speech of the claim; a generation part 19 for generating claim structure information exhibiting the structure of the description segments by using applied token and punctuation clause types; and an output part 20 for outputting the claim structure information.
