PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intrusion detection/prevention system and the like in which deterioration in a security level and a communication velocity can be avoided by appropriately setting inspection items.;SOLUTION: A client computer 10 has a patch application information confirming section 102 for creating inspection unnecessary item data and a web browser operating section 101 for transmitting a connection request addressed to a web server after imparting the inspection unnecessary item data thereto.
