PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for recovering converter gas with which recovered amount of the converter gas can be increased.;SOLUTION: This equipment 10 for recovering the converter gas includes: a suction fan 34 for sucking the converter gas generated from the converter 12; a holder 20 for recovering the converter gas sucked with the suction fan 34; an oxygen concentration meter 40 arranged at the downstream side of the suction fan 34; a changeover valve 42 arranged at the downstream side of the oxygen concentration meter 40 and changing over the flowing path of the converter gas to the direction of the holder 20; a carbon monoxide concentration meter 30 arranged at the upstream side of the changeover valve 42; a recovering valve 44 arranged at the downstream side of the changeover valve 42 and shutting down the flowing path of the converter gas directed to the holder 20; and a controlling device 46 for driving the changeover valve 42 and the recovering valve 44. The controlling device 46 outputs an instruction, in which the recovering valve 44 is to be opened when the oxygen concentration measured with the oxygen concentration meter 40 becomes the predetermined concentration X 1% or lower in the range of less than 5.5% of the oxygen concentration.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
