PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply detect and determine Megabalanus rosa at nauplius larva stage and at Cypris larval stage.;SOLUTION: The method for detecting Megabalanus rosa larva includes performing PCR using a Megabalanus rosa detection primer set containing oligonucleotides having specific base sequences for a test sample, and then determining whether Megabalanus rosa at nauplius larvae exist in the test sample by the absence or absence of the amplification of a gene in the test sample. The method for determining the number of Megabalanus rosa at nauplius larvae in a test sample includes performing a real time PCR, by using the primer set for each of samples having known Megabalanus rosa larva numbers, searching the relation of the Megabalanus rosa larva numbers with Ct values to preliminarily make a calibration curve, and then determining the number of Megabalanus rosa in a test sample from the Ct value of the test sample obtained, by performing a real time PCR using the primer set for the test sample.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
