PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a categorization processing device capable of categorizing a question/answer instance.SOLUTION: A retrieval section 11 stores Q&A instances actually referred by a client 4 along with keywords as a retrieval keyword log set 14. A category extracting section 12 finds the number of stored times of a single keyword recorded along with the Q&A instance in the retrieval keyword log set 14, for each Q&A instance and each keyword, extracts m number (m is a positive integer) of keywords from the top in descending order of frequency for each Q&A instance as category candidates, and associates the category with the Q&A instance using the extracted category candidates as the category.
