PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute work for adjusting the position of an object manually by a user.SOLUTION: A setting data generating apparatus for a three dimensional molding apparatus for molding a three dimensional molded article using a molding material includes: an input means 61 of acquiring three dimensional data of the molded article; a display means 62 of displaying a plurality of objects exhibiting the molded article defined by the input three dimensional data; an adjusting means 65 of adjusting the arrangement position and/or the attitude of the plurality of objects displayed by the display means 62 respectively; and an object moving means of moving the selected object on the display means 62 in a specific direction and automatically stopping at a position not interfering with another object, when the other object is present in a movement direction. As a result, the plurality of the objects are simply made close to one another and the efficient three-dimensional molding in which the molding time is reduced can be performed.
