PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform authentication using an authentication device at a thin client terminal and a plurality of virtual PCs in a thin client system without modifying authentication software.;SOLUTION: A connection management server 2 receives a request for connection to a thin client server 1 from a thin client terminal 3, and determines a virtual PC 1N to which the thin client terminal 3 is connected from among one or more virtual PCs 1N that operate on the thin client server 1. The thin client terminal 3 receives information on the virtual PC 1N at a connection destination from the connection management server 2, starts a remote desktop client 31, and records the information on the virtual PC 1N at the connection destination and the information on the started remote desktop client 31.
