PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a transgenic hemimetabolous insect, by which the transgenic individuals of the hemimetabolous insect can efficiently be made. PSOLUTION: The method for making the transgenic hemimetabolous insect is characterized by comprising a site-specifying process for specifying the site of primordial germ cells in the egg of the hemimetabolous insect; an injection process for injecting transposase mRNA and a transposon having an arbitrary DNA inserted thereinto into a place near to the specified site in the egg of the hemimetabolous insect; and a selection process for selecting the transgenic bodies each having the arbitrary DNA inserted thereinto, from hemimetabolous insects born from the injected eggs.
